Claire Glise presented her collages last night, as part of the show called "IN.OUT" a two-woman show she shared with her friend, Estelle Chatté chez Grace.
The piece at right is titled "Confusion." With torn paper and red thread she evokes identity crisis and the waves of feeling that come at the birth of a new baby: how do I change from being "me" to being "we"? Now all of a sudden I am a mother: how is it that I can love something more than I love myself, and very life itself? And how can I manage the delicate balance between baby's needs and my own?
